Ware Designs has proudly served Lafayette for over 30 years. Our founder, Stephen Ware, is retiring and passing the torch to Melissa, his apprentice of ten years, who specializes in jewelry repair and custom design. Trained at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco and certified in Diamond Grading by the GIA, she continues our traditions of trust and great service on Mt. Diablo Blvd.

When you commission jewelry at Ware Designs, it stays under one roof, stone selection, fabrication, setting, and finishing, all by hand.

Custom Design
From initial sketch through CAD modeling and lost-wax casting, bespoke rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets, and gentlemen's accessories made exclusively for you.

Repairs & Redesigns
Prong repair, ring resizing, chain soldering, stone replacement, and full redesigns. We also handle before-and-after transformations of heirlooms and estate pieces.

Appraisals
Certified personal property appraisals for insurance, estate, and resale purposes. Detailed written reports with current market valuations.

Founded in 1977 on Mt. Diablo Blvd, Ware Designs has been a cornerstone of Lafayette for generations. Stephen Ware, a Master Goldsmith with over 40 years of experience, built this studio on the belief that fine jewelry should be personal, handcrafted, and made right here. Today Steve and Journeyman Goldsmith Melissa carry that tradition forward together, bringing both decades of goldsmithing expertise and fresh creative energy to every piece they make.
